US dollar falls against Pakistani Rupees and mark the value below Rs. 154, according to the official source.
Pakistani rupee recently strengthened by 74 paisas right against the United States dollar today at the start of trading in the market of inter-bank currency.
The local unit of PKR has appreciated 74 paisas as to 153.30 against greenback by hitting a 21-month high. However, the rupee had closed at a value of 154.04 against the US dollar on the other day, according to the foreign currency dealers.
The rupee has now recovered with a significant value of about Rs. 14 during the past seven months; however, since it last touched to a low value of Rs. 168.43 in August, 2020 that was recorded as the highest.
The rupee has gained a significant and considerable ground after an improved reserve of foreign exchange, the account surplus and the due to the less demand of dollar currently because of the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 worldwide.
