A man from the United States has made the decision to spend 100 days submerged to see how the environment affects his body.
Florida-based University professor Joe Dituri, popularly known by his Instagram moniker as Dr. Deep Sea, started the strange experiment on March 1.
Dituri made the decision to spend three months living in the sea as part of a groundbreaking biological experiment.
Dituri is running an experiment called “Neptune 100” to look for “new strategies to revitalise marine habitats,” according to a statement from the university. “But there’s one catch: He’s doing it all 30 feet underwater — and he’s aiming to do it for 100 days,” the press release continued.
