ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Twitter followers surpassed 13 million on Wednesday, continuing his rise in popularity.
According to a study conducted by Burson Cohn & Wolfe (BCW), the cricketer turned politician came in ninth place on the microblogging site in July of this year as the world leader with the most followers.
He has become first Pakistani politician to reach the figure on the micro-blogging site.
Imran Khan, who started using the platform in 2010, reached the milestone days after he unfollowed everyone on Twitter.
