In a surprising turn of events, a resident from Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Rawalakot has transferred all of his land to Maryam Nawaz, the Senior Vice President of the PML-N party, through a deed of gift.
The individual, Zahid Hussain, signed an affidavit declaring that he willingly and without any external pressure or compulsion, is bequeathing his property to Maryam Nawaz.
As per the terms of the affidavit, excluding the share belonging to Zahid Hussain’s children and other heirs, Maryam Nawaz will own 50% of the property, which will become 100% hers upon the death of Mazhar, presumably another heir mentioned in the document.
Additionally, Hussain expressed his hope that Maryam Nawaz would utilize the land for the construction of a hospital or for other welfare purposes.
The affidavit serves as evidence of the transaction and is signed by the property owner. Maryam Nawaz expressed her gratitude for the gesture, acknowledging that she was deeply moved by it. However, she also expressed curiosity as to why someone would choose to do such a thing.
