ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) premises.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq summoned Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad within 15 minutes.
IG Islamabad gave the reasons for the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. He said that the former prime minister has been arrested in the Al Qadir Trust case.
In view of the unpleasant situation after the arrest of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, Section 144 has been imposed by calling Rangers in Punjab and Balochistan.
Islamabad High Court has reserved the decision on whether the arrest of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan is legal or not, the Chief Justice remarked that he will issue an appropriate decision.
The hearing on the bail applications of Imran Khan started again in the Islamabad High Court and DG NAB Irfan Baig and Deputy Prosecutor General NAB Sardar Muzaffar appeared.
