Since the ICC World Cup is in the air, we are hearing a lot about it these days. None other than the former head coach of the national men’s cricket team, Mickey Arthur, also expressed his confidence in seeing the young Pakistani cricket team win the ICC trophy.
After the headline of India not coming to Pakistan for matches, it is not sure that even Pakistani cricket will get a permit to play in India either. The ICC Cricket World Cup is all set to be held in a few months, and this time the Pakistan team will be playing under the captaincy of Babar Azam.
In a recent interview given to a private news channel, Mickey Arthur said that
“The Pakistani cricket team’s potential is unmatchable, and I can say with my whole confidence that nobody can stop this team from winning the trophy. The boys are capable enough to tackle every situation under the captaincy of Babar Azam, and I strongly believe that with this talent they would be able to bring the trophy home. I am also very excited to play a role in those players development and hope that the results are as good as expected.”
Arthur had recently visited Pakistan, during which he was appointed “team director”. He also held face-to-face meetings with the management of PCB and met the players.
Our players’ best wishes are also with our players, and we hope that they play really well according to their potential.
