Andrew McCarthy, an American Astrophotographer has left the internet amazed by clicking the most detailed image of the moon. He had been trying to capture the image for two weeks. The photographer warns the users who want to download the full-size image, stating, “it may break your computer”, as the size is in Gigapixels.
Andrew captured the most comprehensive image by using two telescopes and 280,000 separate images. You can see even the smallest details in the picture by zooming in and different grey shades.
He took to his twitter account and said that people can find the link of the picture on his website or get his limited-edition prints, as the image gets downsized on twitter. The photographer also posted a time-lapse video of camera setting preparations.
