Pakistan has revised fuel prices once again, with petrol becoming more expensive while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced.
Effective from October 8, the price of petrol will increase by Rs. 1.82 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 396.65 per litre. Meanwhile, HSD will become cheaper by Re. 0.91 per litre and will now be available at Rs. 394.94 per litre.
The latest adjustment means motorists using petrol will face a higher cost at the pump, while diesel consumers will see a slight reduction in fuel expenses. The changes come as fuel prices continue to be revised in line with prevailing market conditions.
The new rates will remain applicable from October 8, giving consumers and businesses a fresh change in their transportation and operating costs.
