Army Chief General Asim Munir has stated that May 9 will bring those responsible to justice.
According to the Pakistan Army’s Department of Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Asim Munir visited the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar and was briefed on the current security situation as well as ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.
The Army Chief addressed the corps officers, saying that we will keep working for peace and stability.
The Army Chief, emphasizing the threats to national security, stated that those who disrupt the process of peace and stability will have no place, and Pakistan forces will not tolerate any further attempts to violate the sanctity of the installations.
He stated that all planners, agitators, instigators, and perpetrators of the May 9 Black Day activities would face justice, and that Pakistani forces would not tolerate any further attempts to burn down their installations.
General Asim Munir also spoke about information warfare and efforts to create misunderstandings, and he stated that there is a nefarious attempt by enemy elements to target the armed forces, which will be thwarted with public support.
