The Statement About Sindhi Language Was Wrong, Naseeruddin Shah Admits

Naseeruddin Shah, India’s senior and well-known actor, admitted the error in his statement about the Sindhi language.

Naseeruddin Shah stated during the interview that Balochi, Dari, and other languages are spoken in Pakistan, but Sindhi is no longer spoken.

Users slammed the actor for the statement, which was also criticized by many Pakistani actors and actresses.

Naseeruddin Shah, on the other hand, admitted on social media that I was wrong on this issue, that my statement about Sindhi not being spoken in Pakistan was incorrect.

Naseeruddin Shah stated that the statement about the relationship between Marathi and Persian was also misunderstood; I stated that many Marathi words are borrowed from Persian; my intention was not to denigrate Marathi; rather, my goal was to describe cultural diversity.

Famous Pakistani showbiz personalities Yasir Nawaz and Mansha Pasha, as well as Danish Nawaz, responded amusingly to Naseeruddin Shah’s remark about the Sindhi language in Pakistan.
