PCB has finally decided that the most sought-after match between Pakistan and India will be witnessed in Narendra Modi Stadium, India. After having many reservations and talks about finalizing the venue for ICC World Cup 2023, PCB has forwarded the draft of schedule to ICC.
As per the draft, group-stage matches will take place at 5 locations. Pakistan will be playing in Ahmedabad as well as in Hyderabad. A match against Afghanistan and South Africa will be played in Chennai, with Australia in Bengaluru as well as a day-match with New-Zealand, against Bangladesh and England in Kolkata.
The World Cup will get the ball rolling on 5th October with the winners of World Cup 2019, New Zealand, and England on the ground. The location for the semi-finals is not yet revealed, however, the finale will be witnessed in Ahmedabad on 19th November 2023.
With the finalization of venue, the excitement for the World Cup is at the peaks among the cricket fans.
