Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Resigns from N-League

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that he has resigned.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif met party leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in London. The political situation was discussed in the meeting held at Hassan Nawaz’s office.

Talking to the media after the meeting, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Nawaz Sharif is my friend and brother, did not consult concerns, has political reservations, does not keep personal reservations, never indicated any party, is not forming a new party, I have resigned, now I am not an office bearer of the PML-N, I will participate if the elections are meaningful.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that every party was in power in the last two years, but the situation of the country did not improve. Everyone should join the dialogue to take the country forward.
