According to official sources, the Sindh High Court (SHC) decreed on Friday that all PhD degree holders be awarded a monthly payment of Rs25,000.
This decision was made in response to a petition submitted by Dr. Liaquat Ali Abro.
The court ordered the Sindh chief secretary to provide a report to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah within 15 days in order to provide all government employees with a PhD degree a Rs25,000 monthly payments.
It went on to say that PhD holders working in various departments should be treated equally.
He remarked on Twitter that e-sports will be a new craze in Pakistan and the region, and that he hoped that “youth out there are all set to build top teams… I wish you the best of luck, guys.”
