Islamabad: For the first time in the country’s history, the price of sugar per kg has reached 150 rupees. The government has admitted that sugar is expensive.
According to the details, all the previous records of sugar prices were broken and for the first time in the country’s history, the price of sugar per kg reached Rs.150.
The government has admitted that the price of sugar per kg has reached 150 rupees, the statistical office has said that the price of sugar per kg in Karachi, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi has reached 150 rupees.
In Lahore and Khuzdar, the price of sugar per kg has reached 145 rupees, while in Quetta, the price of sugar per kg has reached 142 rupees.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, the price of sugar per kg in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan, and Bannu is up to Rs 140, while in Hyderabad the price of sugar per kg has reached Rs 138.
Apart from this, the price of sugar per kg has gone up to Rs 135 in Sargodha, Sukkur, and Larkana.
