China, Pakistan Armies are Brothers in Arms, COAS Asim Munir

Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir praised the strong and special bond between Pakistan and China, calling their militaries “brothers in arms.” He made these remarks while celebrating the 96th anniversary of China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

Chinese embassy officials, including Pang Chunxue and Major General Wang Zhong, also attended the event. General Munir highlighted the resilience of Pakistan-China relations in the face of challenges and their commitment to protecting mutual interests.

The Chinese diplomat lauded the strategic partnership between the two nations, emphasizing the successful military visits and the joint celebration of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’s (CPEC) 10th anniversary.

The COAS congratulated the PLA for its role in China’s defense, security, and nation-building.
