According to the official handout, Pakistan Post Office has been formally confirmed as an Amazon delivery partner.
In addition, the Post Office will prioritize a list of authorized locations for warehouse construction in nine cities, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Islamabad, and Karachi. By the 15th of June, facilitation centers will be established in the nine cities mentioned, subject to government requirements.
The Pakistan Post Office has designated the employment of senior officers from 9 locations across the country to ensure proper facilitation of export-worthy products from local traders and industrial partners, according to a circular. In addition, the circular instructs the Post Office to create arrangements with front firms based in other countries that help Amazon’s supply chain.
Also, in light of the country’s historic achievement, Director General of the Post Office has urged all concerned officials and stakeholders to complete all pending preparations to integrate their services with Amazon’s global platform as early as possible.
