Muhammad Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs, thanked the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) on the disbursement of soft loans under the Kamyab Jawan Program’s Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES).
He claimed in a tweet that the NBP achieved history by disbursing over 90% of all loans without collateral.
Furthermore, under the second, the soft loan amount will be doubled from Rs one million to Rs two million.
As per the SAPM, the government plans to introduce a new tier ranging from Rs 100,000 to Rs 500,000 because this is where the majority of the applications were received.
