ICC Announces Revised Schedule of ICC World Cup 2023

ICC has revised the schedule for World Cup 2023, with modifications in eight matches and the most sought-after match Pakistan vs India.

Pakistan and India will play against each other now on October 14th in Ahmedabad. Therefore, England vs Afghanistan will be held on October 15th, Sunday. Pakistan vs Sri Lanka clash will be witnessed by the fans on 10th October. Australia and South Africa will face each other on the 12th of October. Meanwhile, New Zealand will play against Bangladesh on 13th October in a day-night contest.

Changes in the timings of some matches have also been announced. England’s clash against Bangladesh will now be a day match starting at 10:30 am (local time) instead of a day-night fixture. Moreover, India will appear against the Netherlands on 12th November in a day-night clash to be held in Bengaluru.

Three modifications have been made towards the end stage of the tournament, where the double-header encounters are shifted to 11th November for Australia and Pakistan to be held at 10:30 am and England vs Pakistan at 2 pm in Kolkata.

The most awaited ICC World Cup 2023 is set to commence on 5th October with England playing against New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad while the fans will witness the finale on 19th November 2023.
