The value of Pakistani rupee dropped against US Dollar on 15th August 2023. At the beginning of this business week, the dollar observed a rising trajectory against the rupee strengthening its value in interbank trading.
According to the statistics revealed, the US dollar surpassed Rs. 300 against the rupee and reached Rs. 302 after facing a rise of Rs. 6 in the open market. While in the Interbank, the American currency hiked by Rs. 3.60 on Tuesday, settling a new high of Rs. 292.10.
On 14th August 2023, the dollar increased by Rs. 3.02 reaching Rs. 291.51 in the interbank. The depreciation of Pakistani Rupee raises concerns amidst the rising inflation, economic and political instability.
