Recently, Malik Riaz, the owner of Bahria Town, along with his son Ali Riaz and Country Head Mr. Shahid Qureshi, joined hands with the General Secretary of JDC, Zafar Abbas, to launch a program called “Free Petrol Distribution” in major cities like Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi.
The aim of this program is to help ordinary salaried people who are facing financial difficulties due to the high prices of fuel.
In the first phase of the program, they gave away free petrol worth PKR 1 Million in major cities such as Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar.
Today, in Karachi, they continued their efforts by providing free petrol to “Food panda delivery riders” and ensured that their motorcycles had full tanks to make their work easier.
The significant increase in fuel prices has had a big impact on the daily lives of many Pakistanis, especially those who have fixed incomes and are struggling to support their families. The partnership between Bahria Town and JDC aims to assist these communities by reducing their fuel expenses.
