Muhammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper-batsman who played a vital role in Pakistan’s win against Sri Lanka, decided to dedicate their victory to the people facing difficulties in Gaza. He expressed his strong support for the Palestinian cause on a social media platform.
On that platform, he mentioned, “This win is for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. I’m happy to have helped the team win. Thanks to the whole team, and especially Abdullah Shafique and Hassan Ali for making it easier.” Rizwan wanted to highlight the teamwork and the contributions of his fellow players, Abdullah Shafiq and Hasan Ali, who made the tough matches seem easy.
Besides thanking his teammates, Rizwan also expressed his gratitude to the people of Hyderabad, who showed great kindness and support to him and the team during the match.
