Atlas Honda Limited (ALTH), one of Pakistan’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, has reported an impressive 152% year-on-year increase in its first-quarter profit after tax (PAT) for the fiscal year 2023-24.
According to financial reports disclosed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company achieved an after-tax profit of Rs1.956 billion in the period from July to September 2023.
This marks a significant surge from the Rs777.028 million profit during the same timeframe the previous year.
As a result, the earnings per share (EPS) for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24 amounted to Rs15.77, in contrast to Rs6.26 in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The company’s Board of Directors also announced an interim cash dividend of Rs17 per share, which is equivalent to 170% for the half-year ending in September 2023.
