A Company Named Promobot Will Pay You 1.5 Crore to have Your Face Imprinted on heir Robots

Promobot, a tech company, is offering a lucrative sum of £1,50,000 (Rs 1.5 crores) to individuals who are willing to relinquish the rights to their face for the purpose of creating human-looking robots.

The company is preparing to introduce a new line of robots with a friendly and approachable appearance. To achieve this, they are seeking the participation of real humans to lend their faces to these robots.

The company has emphasized that they are looking for a kind and friendly appearance, and applications are open to individuals of all races and genders, provided they are over the age of 25.

The intention behind this initiative is to deploy these human-like robots in various settings such as hotels, shopping centers, and airports across North America and the Middle East starting from 2023.

Promobot is actively involved in the development of technologies related to facial recognition, speech, autonomous navigation, artificial intelligence, and other areas of robotics. Since 2019, the company has been manufacturing and supplying humanoid robots to the market.

The decision to seek the licensing of a new robot appearance is driven by the requirements of their clients who are eager to launch large-scale projects. By obtaining the necessary licenses for the appearance of these robots, the company aims to avoid potential legal delays that could arise from using unauthorized likenesses.
