Pakistan’s mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed started off his Test career with a bang, picking up a five-wicket haul on his debut against star-studded England at Multan Cricket Stadium on Friday, December 9.
The 24-year-old was absolutely phenomenal with the ball.
He got his first wicket in Zak Crawley, dismissing the English opener for 19. Later, he went on to wreck the middle order of England’s batting lineup by scalping the key wickets of Ben Duckett (63), Ollie Pope (60), Joe Root (8), and Harry Brook (9).
the right-arm spinner became the 13th Pakistan bowler to take a five-wicket haul. The Karachi tweaker made his T20 debut for Karachi Kings in February 2017 in the Pakistan Super League while he made his first-class debut in November 2020, for Sindh, in the 2020–21 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
