Sazgar Engineering Works has reported a profit of Rs. 8.7 billion for the three months ending June 2026. This puts the company ahead of Toyota and Honda in terms of quarterly profit during the period.
The company’s profit increased by around 151% compared with the same period last year. Its sales also grew strongly and reached about Rs. 76.5 billion. The rise was mainly linked to higher sales of four-wheelers.
Sazgar sold 6,549 four-wheelers during the quarter, more than twice the number sold in the same period last year. The company assembles and sells Haval and GWM vehicles in Pakistan.
Indus Motor Company, which makes Toyota vehicles in Pakistan, earned around Rs. 6.1 billion in profit during the April to June quarter. Honda Atlas Cars reported a profit of about Rs. 2.49 billion for the same period.
Sazgar also reported a full-year profit of Rs. 23.6 billion for fiscal year 2026. The latest results show that the company has seen strong growth in vehicle sales and earnings, helped by growing demand for its locally assembled cars.
