Anyone who lives in Abu Dhabi is not surprised by the news that the city has been awarded the safest in the world for 2023.
The accomplishment represents the sixth year in a row that Abu Dhabi has been crowned the safest city, according to the Numbeo rankings, which Abu Dhabi consistently tops.
Ajman (fourth), Sharjah (fifth), and Dubai were the other three cities from the UAE that were listed in the top ten (seventh).
Doha, Qatar, which hosted the World Cup, came in second this year, and other GCC cities also do well.
