After 35 Years, Pakistani Opener Gets Stumped in First Innings of a Test

Records trembling here in Karachi as Abdullah became the only third Pakistani opener to lose his wicket on a stump in the first innings of a Test. Previously, it happened 35 years ago in 1987 when Saleem Yousuf lost his wicket in a similar fashion.

Majid Khan was the first Pakistani opener who got stumped in the first innings of a Test back in 1976.

Pakistan’s opener Abdullah Shafique looked in a hurry as he was stumped in just the third over.
