After India’s Anju, Chinese Girl Gao Fang Reaches KP to Marry Pakistani Boy

A heartwarming cross-border love story has come to light recently. Gao Fang, a 20-year-old woman from China, traveled to the Lower Dir district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province to marry her 18-year-old Pakistani boyfriend, Javed.

Before coming to Pakistan, Gao Fang converted to Islam, and she arrived in Lower Dir on a tourist visa that was valid for three months.

Javed, who originally hails from Bajaur district, was living with his uncle in Lower Dir. To ensure Gao Fang’s safety, the police provided security for her as she entered Pakistan through the Sust border crossing between Pakistan and China. She traveled through Gilgit-Baltistan before finally reaching KP province where Javed lives.

Their beautiful relationship began three years ago on the social media app Snapchat, and it led them to unite in marriage in Pakistan.
