Former Pakistani fast-bowling star Mohammad Amir will play for Derbyshire County Cricket Club in the beginning of the 2024 season. Mickey Arthur, who is in charge of cricket at Derbyshire and Pakistan, is excited about Amir joining the team.
Arthur praised Amir’s great skills and said he would bring valuable experience to the team. Amir is known for his ability to swing the ball and win matches.
Arthur, who used to coach Pakistan, said Amir is a huge asset to the team. They have a special connection since Arthur coached Amir when he played for Pakistan between 2016 and 2019.
