Apple iPhone 15 Launches With Roadside Assistance Feature via Satellite

Apple has done it again-reinventing and renovating the smartphone with the launch of the iPhone 15. The latest addition to the iPhone lineup introduces an intriguing new feature – roadside assistance via satellite connectivity.

Apple is providing iPhone 15 users free access to AAA’s renowned roadside assistance program in an exciting partnership with AAA. Using satellite connectivity, iPhone 15 users can request help from AAA even without cellular service. This provides an added layer of safety and convenience for drivers.

Activating the feature is straightforward – users access the Emergency SOS app and follow the prompts to send a satellite message to AAA detailing their location and issue. AAA will then dispatch assistance to get them safely back on the road.

Apple is initially launching the service in the US and Canada, with plans for further global expansion. Customers who activate their iPhone 15 will receive two years of access to the feature at no extra cost.

The iPhone 15, available for pre-order starting at $799, also boasts improved battery life, an upgraded camera system, and the latest A15 Bionic chip. With the addition of helpful new capabilities like roadside assistance, Apple continues to make the case that the iPhone is the most indispensable smartphone.

Seamlessly blending innovation and utility, the iPhone 15 with satellite connectivity looks set to be Apple’s most driver-friendly iPhone yet. This launch continues Apple’s track record of leveraging technology to enhance our everyday lives.
