Arooj Aftab, a singer, created a name for herself by receiving Pakistan’s first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. Adding to her already impressive resume, the ‘Mohabbat’ singer will be the first Pakistani musician to play at Coachella, an American art and music event.
The news follows her announcement that she will make her first appearance on Coke Studio this season.
Harry Styles, Lil Baby, Daniel Caesar, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, Grupo Firme, Louis the Child, Baby Keem, Snoh Aalegra, City Girls, Madeon, NIKI, Peggy Gou, Carly Rae Jepsen, The Martinez Borthers, and Bishop are among the artists who will perform on the first day of the festival on two weekends — April 15 and 22 — according to Aftab.
