This is a special edition as Pakistan is hosting the tournament after almost 15 years. The last time it was held here, Sri Lanka won, defeating India in the final in 2008.
The Asia Cup 2023 will have a unique format because the Indian team declined to come to Pakistan. So, four matches will be played in Lahore and Multan, Pakistan, while Colombo and Kandy in Sri Lanka will host nine games. The tournament will kick off on August 30 in Multan, with the opening match between Nepal and Pakistan.
