Pakistan has added Haider Ali, Fakhar Zaman, and Sarfaraz Ahmed to their 15-man roster for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in England. Pakistan’s National Selectors confirmed three changes to their roster from the team published on 4 September, after considering player performances and recent form in National T20.
Azam Khan and Mohammad Hasnain have been replaced by Sarfaraz Ahmed and Haider Ali, respectively, while Fakhar Zaman has been replaced by Khushdil Shah, who was previously selected as a travel reserve.
After undergoing MRI scans for the lower back following the National T20 encounter against Northern on October 6, Pakistan will make a decision on Sohaib Maqsood’s inclusion in the squad after seeking medical advice.
