Azam Khan, a talented cricket player from Pakistan, has made an exciting career move by joining the Guyana Amazon Warriors for the upcoming 2023 Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He has signed a contract worth $120,000, making him one of the highest-earning Pakistani players in foreign leagues.
Azam Khan has gained recognition for his powerful batting skills while playing for the Barbados Royals in the previous editions of the CPL in 2021 and 2022. He has impressed fans with his explosive performances, scoring 178 runs and 257 runs in those seasons.
Joining Azam at the Guyana Amazon Warriors are other international stars such as Dwaine Pretorius, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and Imran Tahir, which strengthens the team’s roster for the highly-anticipated 2023 CPL.In the CPL 2023 draft, two other Pakistani cricketers, Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir, have also secured contracts with the defending champions, the Jamaica Tallawahs.
The 2023 CPL will take place from August 16 to September 24, with matches held in Saint Lucia, St Kitts & Nevis, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, and Guyana. This exciting cricket tournament is expected to captivate fans as teams compete for the championship.
