Despite Pakistan’s strong attacks in the second half, Bangladesh’s defense stayed strong and stopped Pakistan’s attempts.
The first half ended with Bangladesh leading 2-1, and the score didn’t change until the game ended. Pakistan began well with a goal by Abdul Ghani in the sixth minute, but Bangladesh quickly tied the game in the 19th minute. In the 29th minute, Abu Saeed from Bangladesh scored again, securing their spot in the final.
Pakistan had won their group stage matches with a 3-0 win over Maldives and a 2-1 victory against Bhutan, but their journey in the SAFF U16 Championship ended with this close loss.
