Beautification Project Of Rawalpindi Aims At Making It A Model City

According to a news source, the Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar has ordered the Parks and Horticulture Authority to begin work on beautifying Rawalpindi. Various tasks have been allocated to the respective departments in this regard.

As of now colorful electric lighting along the Murree Road and other routes are being installed.

While speaking to the public and local PTI officials, Vice-Chairman Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi said that the installation of decorative lighting for the beautification of highways is in progress and will soon be completed.

His department’s goal is to make Rawalpindi an ideal model city in terms of natural greenery and environmental friendliness.

According to the vice-chairman, the basic process of converting all of the city’s parks into natural green areas has been finished. More than a hundred different varieties of flowers have been planted in pots on both sides of Murree Road and the center divider line.
