Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has announced an increase in government employee salaries and pensions.
In his budget speech to the National Assembly, Ishaq Dar stated that salaries for government employees in grades 1 to 16 will be increased by 35%, while salaries for employees in grades above that will be increased by 30%.
Salary increases will be granted on an as-needed basis. The pensioner’s pension will be enhanced by 17.5%.
TADA will be increased by 50%, and government employees’ pensions will be increased by 17.5%.
The EOBI pension has been increased from Rs 8500 to Rs 10,000.
