Pak Suzuki Motor Company Ltd (PSMC) took the lead once again, according to data released by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), with a huge 66 percent rise in sales year over year. PAMA attributed the increase to a 162 percent increase in Alto sales and a 106 percent increase in Ravi sales, with Alto sales at 4,245 and Ravi at 1,268.
Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Ltd (HCAR), for example, saw a 13 percent rise in revenue year over year, while Indus Motor Company (INDU) saw a 3 percent decline. Hyundai Nishat and Lucky Motor (KIA), two new entrants into the country’s auto market, sold 651 and 2,500 units, respectively, in February 2021.
In February of 2021, overall passenger vehicle sales decreased by 6% month over month.
