Former finance minister and PAKISTAN Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Miftah Ismail has warned that there is a high possibility that we will default.
Talking to a private TV channel program, he spoke about the current economic situation of Pakistan. He said that in June, four years of the IMF program will be completed. Pakistan must immediately move towards the new IMF program.
Miftah Ismail said that without the IMF, Pakistan will take out one quarter, but it is almost impossible for Pakistan to spend the second quarter i.e. October to December without the IMF.
The former federal minister further said that if Pakistan completes the ninth revenue in a better way, then the new program will be easier.
