Check How Paint Eliminates Need For Air Conditioners & Heaters

Scientists have invented a paint that keeps the house cool in summer and warm in winter.

The research report published in the prestigious journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences states that the invented paint will be an alternative to air conditioners and heaters.

According to the research report, 13% of the world’s energy is used for air conditioners and heating systems and these two also release 11% of the toxic gases.

According to the report, the use of new paint will reduce the cost of energy to cool the house by 21%, which will prove to be a significant source of reduction in electricity bills.

The research report states that the paint to be produced will be available in multiple colors so that consumers can choose the color of their choice.

Several other similar paints have been developed over the years but failed to catch on as they were only available in silver or gray, the report said. Will be available in colors.

The report on the invented pint said that to keep the building cool, it would be used on exterior walls and roofs where it would transmit infrared sunlight from the sun through the colored layer and reflect it back from the lower layer. The building will not absorb heat.

According to experts, the developed paint has the ability to reflect 80% of infrared light, it can also be used on trucks and trains.

The research report does not specify how long this paint will be available to the public in the general market.
