Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology, a Chinese machinery powerhouse, has made another contribution to Pakistan’s wind power construction by completing the lifting of the country’s largest wind turbine. Zoomlion’s ZCC5800 crane raised the world’s largest wind turbine (2.5 megawatts) to a central height of 90 metres, weighing nearly 90 tonnes.
Indus Wind, ACT 2 Wind, Lakeside Energy, Din Energy, Tricom Wind, and Liberty Wind are just a few of the wind construction projects that the mobile crane has completed in Pakistan.
In an interview, Simon, Country Manager of Zoomlion Concrete Machinery Overseas Marketing Company, claimed that as the largest crane manufacturer in wind power construction in Pakistan, Zoomlion has constructed more than 500 megawatts of renewable energy for Pakistan.
Pakistan has begun to develop wind power facilities as part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) to promote the concept of a green economy. Wind power accounts for more than 6% of the country’s total electricity generation.
According to CEN, roughly 10 ZCC5800W are currently operational in Pakistan, assisting in the development of Pakistani green energy. In 2004, Zoomlion made its initial foray into the Pakistani market.
It has been assisting Pakistan’s economic and social development for more than ten years by registering local subsidiaries for in-depth localisation development, exporting high-quality products to participate in local construction, and registering local subsidiaries for in-depth localisation development.
So far, the company’s products and equipment have reached almost 2,000 in the Pakistan market.
