On the eve of the Christian community’s most important religious holiday, Christmas, the federal finance ministry announced advance salaries for all Christians working in government ministries on Thursday.
By December 20, the finance ministry said it will be able to pay all Christians in advance wages and assure the provision of pensions to its retired Christian staff.
