Uber to Provide Free Rides To and From Public Covid-19 Vaccination Centers

Uber, which is the worldwide ride-hailing platform that effortlessly links riders and drivers, is once again offering free rides to and from public Covid-19 vaccination centres in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad to its riders and drivers.

Uber successfully provided almost 24,000 free rides to customers during a previous comparable vaccination drive to assist them with their immunizations and support local authorities in the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak.

However, Uber is now urging its partner drivers, as well as their families and customers, to get vaccinated by offering free rides to vaccination sites as part of the second phase of this sensible campaign.

Riders and drivers will receive vouchers via SMS or email that will allow them to book up to four rides to and from the vaccination centres specified on the NCOC (National Command Operation Center) website in three cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, for a maximum of PKR 375 each trip. The voucher is redeemable using the Uber app and is good until December 31, 2021.
