Under Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961, it will be mandatory a the time of nikkah to take oath to testify their belief in the finality of prophethood(SAWW).
Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi approved an amendment to the West Pakistan Rules under Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961.
There was a positive as well as a negative response from the Public regarding this decision.
