LED manufacturing company of China “Heroboss Technology” has recently expressed its interest in establishing a research center in Pakistan while collaborating with COMSATS University, Islamabad. This Research Centre aims to focus on conducting the research on technology regarding the LED.
The chairperson of this LED Company, Mr Wang Chun Ping has announced regarding the collaboration with COMSATS University of Islamabad (CUI), on Tuesday as during the delegation that was held at university.
CUI’s rector had also attended this announcement and he also agreed on this collaboration. However, he stated that the exchange as well as the internship programs can also be arranged at this research center and the students of CUI can easily take part in several different programs in that research Centre.
He also remarked that our university aims to conduct an effective and product-oriented research; however, the technology of Chinese can greatly help us in this matter.
This delegation that was held at CUI was attended by the members of Chinese company as well as the members of COMSATS where Fan Yan Hong that was from China Gezhouba Group Company Limited (CGGC) was also present.
Mr Hong stated that his company of LED Manufacturing is among the top most 500 state-owned enterprises that are working in Pakistan also since the year, 2008 and even they have several projects that are currently under the way in Pakistan.
Moreover, he also said that his interest is in collaborating with the ones who are from the educational sector of Pakistan and he also wanted to develop a similar research project here in the country. This delegation was headed by the Heroboss and also by Mr Chun Ping; however, LEDCENT China was the third company who attended the meeting.
