The federal government of Pakistan has finalised its plan to transport pilgrims to the holy land for the Hajj in 2023, which is only around the corner.
This year, the cost of performing the Hajj will be Rs. 1.175 million for pilgrims in the north and Rs. 1.165 million for pilgrims in the south.
In comparison to last year, there has been a 68 percent price increase, or a hike of Rs 4,75,000 per pilgrim.
There will be 179,210 pilgrims making the Hajj overall this year. This quota would be split equally between public and private Hajj programmes.
