As part of the celebrations for Saudi Arabia’s founding day on Wednesday in Mrsool Park, Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo wore the national costume and brandished the sword.
The 38-year-old stated on his Twitter, “Happy founding day to Saudi Arabia,” and shared a video of himself celebrating with his colleagues. Participating in the celebration at AlNassrFC was a fantastic experience.
Every year on February 22, Saudi Arabia commemorates the nation’s inception by Imam Mohammed bin Saud in 1727 by observing its Founder Day. After a royal proclamation by King Salman, it was proclaimed a national holiday the previous year.
