International logistic corporation DHL Pakistan has stated that it will reduce its operations in the South Asian nation after the government placed limitations on outgoing remittances for foreign businesses doing business there.
Customers have been warned by the business through a notice that went viral on social media on Monday.
According to the statement, the money remitted by DHL Pakistan pays for international aircraft, hub, gateway, and last-mile delivery expenses incurred through our global network for items dispatched or received by our esteemed clients.
“Due to this restriction, DHL Express is unable to maintain its current level of service in Pakistan. With effect from I5 March 2023, we shall discontinue our “Import Express Product” and cap the weight of each outbound cargo at 70 kg.
