Donald Trump Takes Oath as 47th President of United States

Donald Trump has officially become the 47th President of the United States, marking a new chapter in American leadership. The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice John Roberts of the Supreme Court.

Before the ceremony, Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, attended a prayer service at a church in Washington. They also met with outgoing President Joe Biden at the White House, following a long-standing tradition during presidential transitions.

Due to unusually cold weather, the inauguration was held indoors, making it the first indoor ceremony in 40 years. Despite the change in venue, the event was attended by a mix of prominent political and business leaders.

Several foreign dignitaries, including the foreign ministers of Japan, India, and Australia, were present, along with China’s Vice President. The presence of global leaders highlighted the international interest in Trump’s presidency.

Tech industry giants also attended the event, including Sundar Pichai of Google, Mark Zuckerberg of Meta, and Shou Zi Chew of TikTok. Their attendance emphasized the growing connection between government and technology.

After the formal ceremony, a celebratory rally took place at Capital One Arena. The rally drew supporters and well-wishers, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere to mark the start of Trump’s presidency.

This historic day signifies the beginning of a new administration, with expectations running high for the policies and direction the 47th President will bring to the United States and its role on the global stage.
