“Double Standards” in Accountability Damaged Pakistan :PM Shehbaz

The National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) “double standards” are what, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, are driving the nation to ruin.

The Bab-e-Pakistan project, a national landmark, and the improvement of Walton Road in Lahore were both dedicated at the occasion where the prime minister made these statements.

The premier questioned the NAB’s performance when discussing the suspected corruption in this project, claiming it targeted innocent individuals but failed to hold those responsible to account.

“I wish no one, not even my enemies, went to NAB’s akhuwat khana.” Innocent people were pushed against the wall. “But in this project, where billions were misappropriated, did NAB look into the elements who indulged in corruption in this project?” “It was the double standards that had caused harm to Pakistan.”

“The rule of “might is right” must be buried forever by the 220 million people of the country,” he said, adding the country would not be able to move ahead on the path of progress and prosperity unless they collectively resist these tendencies.
